I initially heard ‘Night Flight’ by the obscure Quintus Project while trolling through Tidal looking for tracks by Mkwaju Ensemble.

The search led me to a compilation titled Computer Incarnations For World Peace III, on which there was a single Mkwaju track mixed in with a dozen or so other tracks by artists I had not heard.

Standout among these was ‘Night Flight’. After listening to the track on repeat during a 45 minute jog I decided to pull the trigger on Compost Records’ (by way of Derwin) re-issue of the track (plus a couple of bonus remixes).

The remixes are nice, but this 12” edit (slightly different than what’s heard on the very rare LP, Moments) is an absolute must have. Get it while you can.
